Reasons To Run At Running Grand Prix | Run Alton Towers

IT’S AT AINTREE RACE COURSE

Aintree is home of the iconic Grand Nation, the world’s most famous steeplechase. The race will start and finish alongside the grandstand overlooking the finish line of ‘The National’.  The course will follow the course around and will visit the motor circuit on the inside of the race track.  Aintree also hosted 11 non – championship Formula 1 races AND Michael Jackson concluded his European Section of his Bad World Tour at Aintree.

YOU GET A COOL MEDAL

Our custom made medal will be based on Aintree Grand National, combined with a running theme.  Check out some of our previous medals below!

THE COURSE IS FLAT

One of the main benefits to running alongside the Grand National Racecourse is that the course is nice and flat! Maybe you’ll out finish Red Rum and get a PB! And we won’t make you jump any of the fences that the horses jump over…

CONVENIENT LOCATION

Aintree Racecourse is located on the A59, just one mile from the M57 and M58, which link the M62 and M6.  With Aintree train station across the road – a short 15 minute trip from Liverpool Central!
